Brett Seacat Found Guilty Of Murdering Wife

Brett Seacat, a former law enforcement trainer, was found guilty of murdering 34-year-old Vashti, then setting their Kingman home on fire in April 2011.
Defense attorneys argued Vashti committed suicide and set the fire herself. Prosecutors said Vashti was shot by Brett, and he set the fire to cover up evidence. The couple's two boys and Brett escaped the burning home.
Brett was also found guilty of aggravated arson and two counts of aggravated endangerment of a child.
The case was sent to the jury late Monday.
Seacat, 37, could face life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder.
