Soleil Moon Frye is expecting her third child with husband Jason Goldberg.

The couple announced their happy news on Twitter, with Soleil tweeting that she was 'so happy'.

The new baby will join big sisters Poet Sienna Rose, seven, and five-year-old Jagger Joseph Blue.

'I have a very big announcement: We have a newest addition to the family here,' the 37-year-old wrote. 'We have two girls and now a new baby to join the family. 

'We are so excited—I'm so happy.'

Former child star Soleil and her producer husband have been married for 15 years.

And Soleil has long made it clear she wants a larger family.

'I want a third. I just feel like if I have a third it will be another girl and I would be so into it,' she told The Bump in October. 

'And then maybe the fourth would be a boy. Fingers crossed within the next year.'

Frye found fame on the ’80s sitcom Punky Brewster before co-starring on Sabrina, The Teenage Witch. 

She has embraced motherhood, running an organic specialty children's clothing shop The Little Seed, in Los Angeles, and writing parenting books.

Her newest Happy Chaos, is out now, and her next tome,  Let’s Get This Party Started, will be released in October.
