Goldendoodle Ramona Asks First Dog For Paw In Marriage

President Obama's dog Bo has an admirer in Ramona, a two-year-old Goldendoodle who has proposed to him via YouTube.
In a video made by the Oregon Humane Society, Ramona asks the First Dog to be her date at the Doggie Dash, an annual Portland, Oregon event raising money for animal shelters.
The fundraiser is not until May 11, but Ramona has already begun daydreaming about meeting her crush and becoming 'Mrs Ramona Obama, First Dog-Lady'.
Thought bubbles appear next to Ramona's head to indicate what she is thinking.
The video shows the dog reflecting to herself: 'Oh no! I don't have a date for Doggie Dash!'
She resolves to invite Bo, her canine crush, and dreamily envisions herself as the wife of the Portuguese Water Dog.
Ever the modern dog, Ramona tries to send her invitation via Twitter and Facebook, but she does not receive a response.
Next she places a phonecall to Bo, but this does not work either. 'What do you mean he doesn't have a cell phone?' she ponders as a human holds the telephone up to her furry ear.
Finally, the Goldendoodle resorts to sending an old-fashioned letter, complete with pink hearts, a pawprint and spelling mistakes only a dog could make.
The note reads: 'Dear Bo, Will u goz to Doggie Dash wit me?'
At the end of the video,a banner appears that says: 'Dear Bo Obama, You are cordially invited to serve as Grand Dog Marshal of the Oregon Humane Society 2013 Doggie Dash.'
It adds that the dog may also 'marry Ramona, if you like'.
A website for the fundraiser, which has started a petition to get the First Dog to attend, lists all the reasons why Ramona is a perfect match for Bo.
'Just like Bo, Goldendoodles are hypoallergenic,' claims the pup. 'The first family would adore me!'
Ramona's infatuation also stems from her love of the First Dog's black and white coloring. 'With my white fluffy fur, we'd make an awesome couple!' the list says.
Every year, the Doggie Dash attracts thousands of dogs and their owners to the Portland waterfront to eat, drink and run for pets in need.
This year the 26th annual event aims to raise $450,000 for animal shelters.
