Duke Blue Devils' Ryan Kelly Is Engaged to Bill Cowher's Daughter

It’s intimidating enough meeting your girlfriend’s father for the first time. Now imagine if your girlfriend’s dad just happens to be Super Bowl winning head coach Bill Cowher. Did we mention that you happened to play basketball for Duke, a bitter rival of Cowher’s alma mater North Carolina State?
Apparently the 6-11 forward, who is a possible second-round pick in next month’s NBA draft, managed to get past that initial test and then some. Kelly tweeted out the news Thursday night that he and Lindsay Cowher, the youngest daughter of the CBS NFL analyst and his late wife Kaye, are now engaged.
Kelly wouldn’t be the first pro athlete to marry into the Cowher family. Lindsay’s oldest sister Meagan’s husband is Carolina Hurricanes right wing Kevin Westgarth.
