A new advert by Guinness is raising catching people's attention, and you don't have to love the black Irish drink to appreciate its heartwarming nature.

Created by BBDO New York, the ad features a group of wheelchair basketball players with an unexpected twist at the end.

The ad begins with a group of muscular men playing an intense game of wheelchair basketball.

'The choices we make reveal the true nature of our character,' says the narrator.

You may need a Guinness to wash away that lump in your throat after this heartstring-pulling commercial that's so very different to other beer ads..
