Nicole Kidman at Calvin Klein party following bike accident as it's revealed she will press charges

She had a dramatic day that saw her pushed to the ground by a photographer on a bicycle.

But it appears Nicole Kidman is made of strong stuff.

The 46-year-old actress appeared to dust herself off as she attended the Calvin Klein Collection after-party later that day.

Nicole appeared unscathed at the bash, wearing a sparkling black pencil skirt and black sleeveless top, with pretty red shoes.

Meanwhile it has been reported that the star will be pressing charges against the photographer who crashed into her on his bicycle.

The freelance photographer Carl Wu knocked Nicole to the ground in the collision outside the Carlyle Hotel where she was returning to during New York Fashion Week yesterday.

According to TMZ, the paparazzo attempted to brake as he got close to her, but they failed and he slammed into Nicole, sending her to the ground.

A source told the gossip website she had no visible injuries but intended to press charges - and although he was given a ticket for riding his bike on the pavement, Carl was not arrested for a criminal offense.

A policeman was reportedly heard saying: 'An accident's an accident.'

An insider added to UsMagazine.com: 'She looked hurt, but there wasn't any blood.

'She put her shoes back on and ran into the Carlyle.'

Video of the accident shows the photographer riding on the pavement at considerable speed and ploughing into Nicole just outside the hotel's entrance.

Snapper Wu, who is reported to be just 16 years old already has quite a reputation after run-ins with other celebs, including Lada Gaga. And there's even a Tumblr account called, 'F*** You Carl Wu.'

But while Nicole is said to be intent on pressing charges, no major damage was done and she returned the fashion scene later that day.

After the accident took place, Nicole was helped up by assistants and was seen rubbing her right leg which bore the brunt of her weight when she hit the ground.

A security guard was seen wrestling the bicycle of Wu as he lay sprawled on the floor outside the Carlyle hotel.

It is illegal to ride bicycles on the sidewalk in New York City and it is likely that Wu was slapped with a ticket.

Before the accident Nicole had been having a pleasant day viewing one of her favourite designer's Spring/Summer 2014 collection.

While at the Calvin Klein show Nicole showed off a new bob haircut and her youthful complexion was clear as she wore minimal make-up aside from pink lipgloss.

The actress was also highlighting her teeny tiny waist in a dress which was nipped in with a thin gold belt.

The frock was dove grey, fell to Nicole’s knees and hugged her slender figure in all the right places.

Nicole teamed it with three tone shows in white, brown and black hues, along with a gold watch and dazzling earrings.

The Stoker star also carried a ponyskin clutch bag and wore large cat-eye sunglasses until she was inside Spring Studios where the show was taking place.
