Her wedding to footballer Frank Lampard is looming on the horizon, but Christine Bleakley didn’t appear to have a care in the world on Monday.

That could be because the Chelsea and England midfielder is arranging the whole thing, meaning his bride-to-be can afford to put her feet up and relax.

R&R certainly appeared to be the order of the day when she was spotted taking a stroll in West London sporting a big grin while she chatted on her mobile phone.

Christine looked casual in a black vest top and skinny jeans during her solitary jaunt, which came the day after she and Frank stepped out for a double date with Chelsea skipper John Terry and his wife, Toni.

The TV presenter teamed her outfit with a pair of black suede ankle boots, while her wine-red leather jacket provided an otherwise low-key look with an added splash of colour.

Christine appeared to have a spring in her step as she made her way along a residential street while Frank joined his teammates ahead of Tuesday night’s Champions League match against German side Shalke 04. 

The footballer revealed during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show that a wedding will take place after next year’s World Cup Finals in Brazil.

Lampard was on the pitch to help England qualify for the tournament with an emphatic win against Poland last week, and he admitted that his marriage to the 34-year-old TV presenter will take place after the tournament – if he is selected by manager Roy Hodgson.

‘If I get picked for the World Cup, it will be after that, definitely,’ he said. 

After some prompting by Ross, Christine – who was watching the interview from the green room – agreed that it would be ‘after the World Cup.’

When asked if she would be happy for him to take the reins and organise the bulk of the preparations for their impending nuptials, Frank said: 'Absolutely 100 per cent.'

The couple – who started dating after meeting at the Pride Of Britain Awards in 2009 -  announced their engagement in June, 2011.
