Whoopi Goldberg Praises Daughter’s Parenting Skills

WHOPPI Goldberg thinks her daughter is a better mother than she was.
The actress — who gave birth to Alex Martin at 17 — toasted her daughter at Alex’s birthday party at the Bowery Ballroom.
The View host apparently gave a “heartfelt speech, and Goldberg told the crowd, ‘Alex is a better mother to her three kids than I ever was.’ ”
Whoopi is developing a reality show about Alex’s family life through her One Ho Productions that also follows Alex’s best friends.
When a guest at the party, rapper Consequence, posed for a photo with Goldberg for perhaps too long, the comic quipped, “You’ve now held me longer than my last husband.”
