Beyonce's Ms Carter world tour is getting more exciting by the milisecond.

She's due to kick off the Brazilian leg in September, with five dates announced at cities around the country, including Rio Di Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Brasilia and two others which we've just read and immediately forgotten.*

And the globally renowned singer is so excited about her South American adventure, she's popped down there a bit early for a lovely summer holiday, taken some photos for her Tumblr page, and filmed a promotional video at the same time. Which is a lot more productive than the time that we went to Brazil and spent a week doing Jesus poses at the foot of Christ the Redeemer to the tune of Copacabana.

The vintage-style black and white video shows Beyonce dressed in a retro-inspired bikini and splashing around in the sea, while words on the screen announce that 'Beyonce invites you to join her on her next adventure filmed on location in the marvellous Brazil."

Once she's finished splashing, Beyonce uses a massive stick to write "Brazil", followed by "Blue" in the sand. Possibly in reference to her 18-month-old daughter, who joined her on the trip. Possibly just because she likes the colour.

And of course, what trip to the tropics would be complete without swinging around in a hammock for a little while? (Hint: none).

Either way, the holiday certainly makes a nice change from her recent trip over to the UK. When she reportedly managed to eat the entire contents of a local Nandos restaurant. And refused to let Channel 4 film her performance at V Festival.

Presumably because she just likes ITV that little bit more.
