Gary Barlow and Elton John 'to duet during X Factor final', with One Direction and Katy Perry also tipped to perform

X Factor judge Gary Barlow will sing with Sir Elton John during the 2013 series final, a newspaper report has claimed.
Groups mentor Gary is expected to perform Face to Face, recorded by the duo for the Take That star’s new album, with the 66-year-old pop legend – despite Elton previously saying that he found programmes like the ITV hit “boring”.
"I'm not a fan of talent shows. I probably wouldn't have lasted if I'd gone on one,” Sir Elton said in 2010.
"It's become boring, arse-paralysingly brain crippling."
The duet could be the 42-year-old's last hurrah on the show - Gary is set to vacate his judge's chair after three years.
One Direction and Katy Perry are also tipped by The Sun to perform at the Wembley Arena end-of-season extravaganza.
X Factor will draw to a close on the weekend of December 15.
