LeBron James Was Almost Decapitated by a Low Bridge in Front of 400,000 Fans at Heat Victory Parade

Whoever planned the Miami Heat Victory parade clearly saw no problem with LeBron James and his similarly sized team-mates standing on top of a double-decker bus riding along a route filled with low-hanging overpasses.
Indeed, eleven of the 15 players on the Heat roster stand at least 6-foot-8, including star forward and NBA Finals MVP James.
So imagine the surprise on a cigar-smoking James' face when their victorious parade turned into an obstacle course - caught on video by the obligatory 'LeBron Cam', set up to follow the illustrious two-time Finals winner.
James was up front on the double-decker with his sons and Juwan Howard, pointing to the thousands who had lined the route to cheer on their winning team.
The bus went under three consecutive overpasses that had a 14-foot-6 clearance, but 6-foot-8 LeBron had to duck each time - in one case turning just in time to bob his head under one of the bridges along 8th St. and up Buscayne Blvd in Miami.
Despite the impromptu ducking and weaving, LeBron seemed to find the whole thing funny, despite the fact that the Heat almost saw their superstar decapitated before they could even think of a three-peat at the NBA Finals.
The NBA champions Miami Heat were in quite a mood to party on Monday.
Players, families, staff members and friends crammed buses, flatbed trucks and cars for the parade honoring the latest Heat championship, with the caravan snaking its way through downtown Miami before a huge crowd of fans.
A crowd of up to 400,000 lined the route on a hot, steamy morning where the heat index reached the mid-90s by 11 a.m.
'It’s the ultimate,' James told Sun Sports, the Heat broadcast partner, as he rode along the route.
'It’s the ultimate. This is what I came down here, to be able to have a parade at the end of the year. I’m extremely blessed, man. It doesn’t get any better than this.'
'All the fans that we’re seeing here is who supported us throughout the whole season, man,' James said. 'This is the least we could do is ride through the city and show our appreciation.'
James was the series MVP for the second straight year, and won his fourth regular-season MVP award as well.
'I’m honored,' James said. 'I’ve watched so many NBA Finals throughout my years, growing up as a kid, wanting to be a part of those moments. To go down as one of the greatest Finals ever and to be a part of it is unbelievable.'
'It hasn’t hit me yet,' James said. 'This is unbelievable to be a part of such a great franchise and to be able to go back-to-back.'
