Avril Lavigne wants you to know that she's still "Rock N Roll."
Perhaps that's why, in her latest music video, the 28-year-old gets hot and heavy with actress Danica Cooper, best known for her role as Winnie Cooper in "The Wonder Years."
In what was perhaps an homage to 'The Wonder Years,' the scene even included a Kevin Arnold-style voiceover.
In a nod to Mckellar's character, the scene even features a Kevin Arnold-style voiceover about the event.
The "Rock N Roll" video opens with Lavigne referencing her breakout hit, "Sk8r Boi," chatting on the phone. "He was a boy … she was a girl. Mmhmm. Well I'm sorry, if you don't get it by now, I'm going to have to say good-bye, sir," Lavigne says.
Lavigne's new self-titled album is due on Sept. 24.
The video also includes a bear-shark creature, and actor Billy Zane on a Segway, as well as animated segments interspersed throughout. But would you expect anything normal from Lavigne?
The rocker's new self-titled album is due to hit shelves on Sept. 24. And Lavigne has been busy in her personal life as well. In July, she tied the knot with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, donning a black dress for an elaborate blowout in Mandelieu, France.
